Dedication

Blake Annabelle Tyler was dedicated at our church on Wednesday night. We were so proud to watch the elders pray over her and bless our baby girl. We thank the Lord everday for Blake and pray that she will grow to know and love her Savior.

Behold, children are a gift from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward.

IT'S ANOTHER BOY!

This past Sunday we welcomed TITUS NOLE TYLER into our family. He was an early Christmas surprise for the kids..and they were so excited to meet him. He is a full bred English Mastiff..and he will grow to be a very big big boy! His mommy, Matte weighs about 200lbs and his daddy, Maddox weighs about 225lbs. It is really hard to believe he will get so big, cause he seems so tiny now, but I know he will get big so fast. We are loving having him and he is so spoiled already. I think I am so use to having newborns that I am treating him like a infant instead of a puppy. Josh laughed at me today cause when the puppy was napping this afternoon I turned all the ringers off on the phones in the house and used a baby monitor...I know it is ridiculous, but I didn't want him to get woken up or to be scared when he woke up. I have also caught my self "shushing and rocking him to sleep".... I know, I know...but he is my baby boy and btw, he is a big time mama's boy! Here are some pics of our boy!

Just another Monday....

What do you do on a Monday morning when the baby is sleeping and the boys are bored beyond belief..oh and when you have a mountain of laundry to do and the house is a disaster? Answer....give them my camera so they can get their creative juices flowing. Here is the result!

About 6 months ago, when Luke turned 2, we decided to ween his paci addiction and only allow him to have them at naptime and bedtime. This has gone quite well so far...and we are now attempting to start the "no paci at all" phase...which is proving to be quite challenging. This boy is soo dependent on his paci and we need some serious help! Drew was a paci kid, but was way more attached to his blankie so we have never had to deal with this before. Things were going well until yesterday when the boys were having some rest time in our room. When I went up to check on them they were both under our bed exploring and finding all sorts of toys and treasures that had been lost. Luke was sooo excited because he found 4 pacis that had been lost under the depths of our bed. This is what he looked like, and if you cant count them all, he was able to fit 6 in his mouth....pure joy!

Halloween 09!

After much anticipation and about a million "is it dark yet?, is it time to go?"...the kids had a great Halloween. We had some friends over for a quick pre-trick or treating chili dinner. After that, we hit the streets and it was game on! The boys came home with some serious loot and since daddy is such a cool dad, he let them dig right in and devour mounds of chocolate before bed. As for Blake, she enjoyed riding in the wagon and taking it all in...but was glad when it was all said and done and she could hit her crib! Here are some pics from the night!
